2 Day Rooty Hill to Bents Basin Loop Tour

    This ride was designed as a 2 day loop ride from Rooty Hill to Bents Basin. However, it's probably quite doable as a day ride.

    Camping is available at Bents Basin (Fee payable - Flush toilets, Picnic shelter without table, pay 20 cents for hot shower, good swimming). Loop could be done as a single day ride if keen.
    Most of the route is on reasonably quiet semi-rural roads, however there are a few stretches on busier roads, some with barely adequate shoulders. A few short steep climbs (quite walkable). Mostly bitumen roads.
    See notes on Rooty Hill Railway Station if arriving at the start by train.
