* Map
* Cue Sheet

This is the 3rd day of the 5 Day Outer Western Sydney Loop Tour.

There are several Lookouts & Points of Interest either en-route or via short detours. If visiting a few, it may be worth extending this route over 2 days, and maybe staying somewhere like the A-Vina Caravan Park, which is a few kms east of Windsor. (Address: 217 Commercial Rd, Vineyard, Ph: (02) 9627 1847, email: avina@bigpond.com.au).
Note that there are two steep downhills and 1 steep uphill to negotiate in the last 4 km to the campsite once inside the National Park at Glenbrook. Depending on fitness levels, allow around 40 minutes to do this. (This is in addition to the climb up the Lapstone hill from Emu Plains to Glenbrook). Allow plenty of time for the last leg of the ride from Emu Plains !!

Facilties en-route:
- Pass near Railway Stations at Windsor, Clarendon, Emu Plains, Lapstone & Glenbrook. To avoid the climb up Lapstone hill, it would be possible to catch one of the hourly trains from Emu Pains to Glenbrook. Still got the hill in the National Park to contend with though!!
- Major Shopping centres at Windsor & Emu Plains, and smaller shopping centres at Wilberforce & Glenbrook.
- Bike shops in Windsor (Windsor Cycles, 293 George St, Windsor, Ph 02 4577 3209, The Bicycle Shop / World Of Choppers, 221 George St, Windsor, ph (02) 4587 9511) & Penrith (Lifecycles, 20 Riley St (Cnr Henry St), Penrith, Ph (02) 4721 0500, Blackmans, 87-93 Henry St, Penrith, Ph (02) 4731 3048, Panther Cycles, Shop 5C Henry Lawson Centre, 61-79 Henry St, Penrith, ph (02) 4731 3522, Bike Zone, 144 Henry St, Penrith, ph (02) 4721 0822).
- Toilets - Plenty. Ebenzer Church, Windsor, Penrith, Emu Plains to name a few.
- Short detours to a few lookouts/points of interest.

Points of Interest:
- Tizzana Winery - 2.3 km into ride, along Tizzana Rd on the left. Ph (02) 4579 1150.
- Ebeneza Uniting Church, Aust oldest remaining church & school. Est 1809 - Turn left off Tizzana Rd 7.3 km into ride, down Coromandel Rd for about 1 km. Devonshire Teas served daily.
- Just before Ebeneza Church, Swallow Rock Reach Walking track goes off along the river from Argyle Bailey Memorial Reserve. Most of the track is ridable with unloaded mountain/hybrid bikes, although there are some steps to negotiate.
- Penrith Weir at 45.3 km.
- Gardens (with toilets) at 45.5 km.
- Park beside river in Emu Plains (with toilets) at 47 km.
- Monument to John Whitton & Railway Builders at 51 km.
- Knapsack Bridge (or google for other pages) at 51.7 km - Originally completed in 1867 as a single railway line, a new platform was later added and the bridge became part of the Great Western Hwy.
