A lot of the rides that I lead start at Rooty Hill Railway Station (I live nearby, and it's readily accessible to the M7 shared path). However, Rooty Hill railway station has steps leading up from the platforms to the over-bridge. It does have ramps at either ends of the over-bridge down to street level. These steps up to the over-bridge can be difficult to navigate with a bike - especially if fully loaded for touring. Mt Druitt Railway station, which is the next station west, has both ramps and lifts from platforms to the over-bridge and back to street level. In my view, it's easier to go to Mt Druitt and ride the 2 km back to Rooty Hill when carrying a fair load.
Either North Pde (northern side of line) or Beames Ave (Sourhern side) can be used. North Pde has a couple of 'squeeze points' where cars can't easily pass. I've shown Beames Ave on the Map.
