   This is day 1 of the 2 day Rooty Hill to Bents Basin loop tour (or the first half of the loop ride if doing it all in the one day!!)
   
   See notes on Rooty Hill Railway Station if arriving at the start by train.
   
   Route Description:
   The route starts off going through reasonably quiet suburban streets, before heading into semi-rural rolling hill territory. Most of the route is on reasonably quiet roads, however there are a few stretches on busier roads, some with barely adequate shoulders. A few short steep climbs (quite walkable). Mostly bitumen roads.
   
   Facilities en-route:
   - Small shopping centre at Old Mt Druitt & Mulgoa, larger shopping centre at St Marys. Hotel in Wallacia.
   - Park with shady trees, toilets and picnic shelter in Mulgoa.
   
   Camping Ground at Bents Basin State Recreation Area:
   Bookings normally required a week in advance. Fees payable. Popular swimming spot, Large grassy area for camping, Hot showers (20 cent coins needed). Large sheltered area with concrete floor & 1 picnic table. One other outside picnic table within camping area. Electric BBQ ($1 coins), drinking water, sink.
