    Hi,
Found a great route on Bikely and now want to download the file to use in my Garmin Etrex Vista. Select the download GPX File so that I can import it into Map Source, however I find I'm downloading a XML file rather than a GPX File. There is no options in Map Source to import a XML file.

    Question 1
Why do you put on the web site download gpx file when you are not downloading a xml file ?

    Question 2
I want to have this route in a format that I can download into my Garmin GPS how do I do this with an xml file ?

    Question 3
If there are additional steps required to convert xml file to a GPX file why is this information not easy to find on the Bikely Web site especially if you are a novice ?

Just rename the file with a .gpx extension. The .xml file downloaded from Bikely is essentially a gpx file with an xml extension.
