    I was fascinated by Edward Genocchio's account of his bike ride to Beijing and back (see 2wheels.org.uk). This map is of part of his return route, from Laos to Golmud in western China. As the mapping on Bikely for China is pretty basic I have used other web mapping sites and resources and some web searches for obscure towns etc to track down where he went, so may not be completely accurate. Amazing countryside, particularly up the Upper Yangtze River Valley.
