    This is a beautiful route with all sorts of wild life, small mammals (skunk, rabbit, raccoons, ground squires), birds of all sorts from cranes to Canadian geese, nesting sparrows and an occasional pheasant, and creeks where large fish sometimes spawn. Could this really be in the center of the most populated portion of Santa Clara County?

    It is relatively safe and uncrowned way to go from Palo Alto to North San Jose, which may eventually by way on proposed BayTrails east of Moffett Field and improvements to the Guadalupe River bypass most vehicular streets.
