    Not sure of what's involved, but it would be nice to be able to have a text version of the route.
    eg:
    After 100m, turn left ABC St
    After 600m, turn right DEF St
    If elevation starts working, a gradient estimate between points would also be nice

    I agree with one of the other posters, a naming convention would be a very useful addition.

    Thanks for the suggestions Graham.

    They'd (text directions) be great to have, but with the technology we have at the moment, it's sadly impossible for now.

    But you never know what new stuff that might enable this is just around the corner ;-)

    Being able to print all Passing-thru or Notes comments would allow route creators to enter their own directions for a selected route. Your program does the work on providing the distance. Even without the visual of a full map, the directions would be very useful.

    Maybe there will be integration opportunities with Google Spreadsheets coming soon.
