This is one of two possible routes that I use for my commute. Portions of it offer some decent scenery and get you away from major traffic where possible. Archibald can be very busy during rush hour, however I like going North on it during the morning when it's quiet since it can be very fast. There's a sidewalk that runs on the west side that many cyclists use; it get's fairly wide for a portion from Elizabeth street north. Use the small footbridge that crosses the Seine river from Trembley/Edgewood streets to avoid using Marion, which is highly recommended due to crazy drivers along there. When you get into the Wolseley area you have a few options on what streets to use; I vary things from day to day since many of the houses around there are nice to look at. The path westward from there ends up using several MUPs which at times may be unavailable in the spring due to flooding. If I'm in a rush I end up going north to Portage avenue and cranking it hard along there, although you really need to watch the traffic and keep a good pace.
