The Mill-Creek to Bothell part of this is similar to what I did when I commuted from South Everett to North Creek Parkway. A couple of things I did differently.

A block or so south of Thrashers Corner I went left on 214th. From there, there were a couple of choices. Left at 220th and right at 26th Ave takes you to 228th where it's an easy right then left on to Fitzgerald. Or, there is a trail at the end of 23rd Dr (some gravel involved and the paved section can flood) that leads to 228th west of Fitzgerald.

At Monte Villa Parkway, I went right. There is a paved trail on the left that leads to North Creek Parkway N where I went right, or if the weather was good straight onto another paved trail which leads onto a red clay(?) trail which comes out further down North Creek Parkway - you can cross North Creek Parkway there onto yet another paved trail that comes out on NE 195th St, but there's no convenient cutout in the sidewalk there.

    Orin.
