0km 0km Huntleys Point Cross the slip lane off the Tarban Creek Bridge and scramble up a rough track to the start of the cycle path across the Bridge. 0.31km 0.31km Not a bad view from top of Gladesville Bridge. But why is it so high? Surely no ships that big go up the harbour now. Cut it down I say, wheeze, wheeze. SSE 144° 0m
0.77km 0.46km Drummoyne Sign says Cyclists must Dismount between Cambridge St and Wolseley St. So dismount here and then get back on! SSE 151° 22m
0.95km 0.18km Another fence thoughtfully supplied across path. Ah well, it is Sydney. Do watch for local residents stepping on to path from hidden gates along the path though. ENE 62° 9m
1.14km 0.19km R at Collingwood. Bike route sign missing. SSE 153° 19m
1.58km 0.44km R at Lyons Rd. SW 225° 27m
1.65km 0.07km L at Renwick St. There is a bike lane of sorts along this street. Watch for speed humps and some rough patches, and the Stop sign thoughtfully provided at bottom of hill at Edwin St. SSE 143° 32m
2.45km 0.8km R at Roseby, which is a cul de sac, not as shown on the map. Can access the shared path on Victoria Rd leading to the Iron Cove Bridge here. Take care on steep access path. SW 217° 18m
2.56km 0.11km Nasty slip lane crossing. Stop and look over right shoulder before crossing. Then watch for motor traffic on left entering Victoria Rd SE 130° 6m
2.61km 0.05km Iron Cove Bridge Most cyclists use the narrow shared footpath. watch for joggers and dogs etc and other cyclists. Can use the road if confident, but need to have the legs to keep up a good pace. SSE 137° 6m
3.02km 0.41km Notorious point here where a pedestrian path from under the bridge meets the bridge path at a blind corner. Do slow down at end of bridge. SE 134° 6m
3.11km 0.09km Wide shared path along Victoria Rd up to Terry St. SE 118° 14m
3.29km 0.19km Terry St. Cross on green bicycle light. Can be dangerous here due to fast left turn off Victoria Rd for motor vehicles. Alternative route is up Terry St to left. SE 124° 27m
3.34km 0.05km Bus shelter blocks path. Bad in peak hours. Some cyclists hit the roadd here to avoid all the footpath shenanigans. SE 123° 27m
3.52km 0.18km Another bus shelter. They (RTA) could find some room around the back for this one on some dead space belonging to BP servo. Write them a letter. Also watch for vehicles entering or leaving the BP servo. SE 122° 31m
3.57km 0.05km Cross Wellington St at lights. Often some broken glass around the hotel on corner. Fairly uncluttered run up this section to Darling St. SE 126° 39m

3.77km 0.05km Two bus shelters blocking the path. Narrow passage behind. Bus patrons at least can see cyclists a bit better here. SE 131° 44m

4.04km 0.08km Cross Mc Kenzie St. Watch for traffic on numerous side streets. SE 121° 32m
4.31km 0.26km Another bus shelter. Not so bad. Cross Roberts St at lights, watching for turning traffic. SE 133° 18m

4.43km 0.08km White Bay Hotel Two classic JCDecaux bus shelters beautifully placed to block the cyclists passage. Large advertising panels further restrict everyone's vision. Have been campaigning for years to get the path widenend here. Send Verity Firth MP a letter, Please! S 160° 19m
4.52km 0.08km Entrance to Lilyfield Rd footbridge on left. Rather poor sight lines so waqtch out for cyclists shooting out. S 162° 7m
4.57km 0.05km Path to Anzac Bridge continues on to left. New footbridge over the City West Link meets the path here, on a blind corner, so watch it. Dont stop here, its dangerous, keep going. NNW 334° 7m
4.62km 0.06km Return to footbridge for a different return route. WSW 244° 7m
4.66km 0.03km Lilyfield Cross footbridge. Use footpath to Quirk St. NNW 343° 15m
4.74km 0.08km L at Quirk St NW 293° 19m
5.02km 0.28km Cross Gordon St WNW 278° 25m
5.12km 0.1km Rozelle Road closure here will soon be removed, I hope. NNW 324° 24m
5.18km 0.06km Use path on OConnor Reserve. N 24m
5.25km 0.07km L at Evans St. Needs a ramp but can use footpath up to Belmore St WSW 238° 32m
5.34km 0.09km R at Belmore past the Three Weeds Pub. Note: Belmore is one way. NNW 323° 30m
5.58km 0.24km Cross Darling St. Soon to be traffic lights here. Yay! Follow Waterloo St. If coming the other way, can use Red Lion St. NNW 324° 43m

5.85km 0.05km L at Victoria rd. Use footpath or if traffic is light, try the road. NW 305° 31m
6.05km 0.2km Cross Victoria Rd at lights. Take a while to change. NE 23° 24m
6.08km 0.03km L onto footpath to Iron Cove Bridge. NW 297° 27m
6.37km 0.29km Watch for pedestrians emerging from steps on right! NNW 316° 6m
6.44km 0.07km Dodge the joggers and prams and dogs again on the narrow path across the Bridge. May get a widere path if new bridge is built as the RTA is proposing. NNW 317° 9m

6.94km 0.05km L at Renwick St. Retrace route to Gladesville Bridge NNW 323° 23m
7.77km 0.83km Try Wrights Rd for a slightly more direct route. NNW 332° 32m
8.03km 0.26km Road closure needs a gap for cyclists, but can be bypassed to right. NNW 327° 25m
8.31km 0.28km Cross Wolseley St to take the official route, avoiding the narrow footpath route. NNW 335° 17m
