0km 0km North Haven Starting near the boat ramp and shops you can follow the bike path or the road. The road is wide and safe W 252° 1m
1.09km 1.09km Bridge There is a path on the right hand side which is narrow and have to give way to people coming the other way. Alternatively pull out and command your lane and ride over. Bridge is fairly short and smooth and provided you are traveling fairly fast cars are considerate. W 260° 3m
2.26km 1.17km Laurieton Turn right onto Ocean Drive WNW 289° 17m
3.33km 1.07km West Haven Road is a bit narrow in places with and some patched pot holes but there is room to stay on the road and most parts of Ocean Drive have some room at the side of the road. NNW 355° 10m
3.89km 0.56km Climb starts here. Turn left at the sign to Nth Brother Lookout, it says 5km but it is about 4.7km. SW 210° 14m
4.37km 0.48km This is it. Coach terminal on your left and the climb really starts WNW 286° 66m
4.97km 0.6km Climb steepens and you will see a 4 on the road. There is a km count down to the top, spray painted on the road edge. NW 299° 127m
7.3km 2.33km You get about 50m of flat here before the final big climb. The last climb is seriously steep and must top 14%, you will see a 1 on the road half way up this hill but the last 500m or so is fairly flat so you are nearly there. S 175° 405m
7.79km 0.49km That's it - you are at about the top of the hill, from here it is undulations in, enjoy it. S 174° 457m
8.65km 0.87km North Brother Lookout That's it. You are here. 4.7km from the start and 480m higher - you do the maths that is a 10% climb. Enjoy the views to the east and south they are fantastic. Be warned, the ride down - take it easy. The road is quite bumpy at speed and narrow in places. Having your handlebars thrown out of your hands at 60km/h + would not be pretty here. SSW 183° 471m
