This is a cue sheet for the Lawnton -City Commute 1 Bicycle Map. You can print it out for later use.

Cumulative Distance Where Notes Direction Elevation
0km 0km All pretty basic for the start of the commute. Good urban roads not very heavy traffic SSW 188° 16m

13.98km 3.53km CAUTION watch traffic behind that is heading down to the roundabout you as you go onto the overpass SSE 143° 64m
14.12km 0.14km CAUTION again of frafic behind and to your left that is coming up from the roundabout. SSW 181° 58m
15.42km 1.3km Great downhill run starts here. Careful of cars on left coming out of Felstead SW 214° 72m
16.02km 0.6km Shoulders disappear now. Use footpath if the traffic is a problem SSE 143° 40m
16.78km 0.76km NB if you are heading outbound at rush hour, this is pretty horrible for traffic for the next few K as there is no shoulder and narrow lanes. WHY DO THEY BUILD ROADS LIKE THIS safe one way, narrow the other??. Take a look at my Lawnton to City Commute 2 for an alternative commute outbound that doesn't have this very unpleasant bit of road in it. (It's not up yet, but I'll get it up soon) S 174° 39m
17.34km 0.56km Road narrows here, but own the lane then turn left just ahead. SSW 182° 30m

21.88km 0.05km onto the road again. SSW 188° 28m
22.32km 0.44km Trafic starts to get a bit busier but no big deal WNW 281° 34m
22.78km 0.46km pretty poor bike lane here. Watch for car doors throughout and MAN HOLE COVER right here on the bend! VERY DANGEROUS WHEN WET. SSE 147° 21m
