10.19km 0.02km Illawong I'll be honest, from here the route choices to cross Alfords Point Bridge suck. This route will take you along the very narrow breakdown lane downhill to the bridge. ENE 63° 99m
10.26km 0.06km Illawong Roundabout, turn left into Brushwood Dr. NE 44° 108.3m

10.7km 0.16km Alfords Point Theres a bus stop here and a bit of room to get out of the traffic, a good opportunity to check nothing is loose on your bike as from here to the bridge you'll get up a bit of speed and some of the surfaces suck. NNE 13° 105.9m
10.74km 0.04km Alfords Point You've got a choice between trying to claim a lane in an 80 zone, or using the very narrow breakdown lane that has a dangerous ridge down it. Lots of fun on a rainy windy night. NNE 104.4m
12.42km 1.68km Alfords Point Alfords Point Bridge. From here you can stay on the road (80 zone, no breakdown or bike lane at all) or use the path on the bridges western side. If you use the path watch out for the drains, uneven surface, debri and narrow entrance to the path here. Both truly apalling options. This route will use the path. NNE 12° 41m
12.69km 0.27km Padtow Heights Alfords Point Bridge. If you are using the path you might as well enjoy the view and try to ignore the noise while you are dodging broken glass. If you chose to use the road you are probably spinning out of top gear hoping that car on your arse doesn't take you out. Work has started on duplicating Alfords Point Bridge, we should get a better way across Georges River then. During the work at times the speed limit across the bridge will be 40km. NNE 12° 0m
12.87km 0.18km Padstow Heights So the path across the bridge finishes here. Really. It just finishes. You've got some concrete drains, grass and crash debri to ride on. If you want a break, if you search around you will find the walking track down to the beach. Construction work means you may have to dodge a couple of barriers around here. NNW 357° 18m
12.89km 0.02km Padstow Heights Cruddy drains are about here. NNE 13° 19m
13.54km 0.64km Padstow Heights This route avoids much of the traffic but is steep, winding and poorly lit. Follow the path right under Alfords Point Rd. One faster way through here use the street just to the west, then Henry Lawson Drive. Or just use Alfords Point Rd (much high speed traffic). NE 29° 44.4m
13.7km 0.17km Padstow Heights Sharp right back uphill. SE 134° 42.4m
13.76km 0.06km Padstow Heights Cross the road entrance to Alfords Point Rd, head into Sewell Ave on the other side. Watch for high speed traffic from your left. S 175° 46.3m
14.01km 0.25km Padstow Heights Left into Roma Ave. NNE 50m
14.22km 0.21km Padstow Heights Right into Villiers Rd. ESE 96° 47m
14.33km 0.11km Padstow Heights Left into Dilke Rd. NNE 50m
14.47km 0.14km Padstow Heights Right into Henry Lawson Dr at the traffic lights. This can be a busy road, but from here to the bridge across Salt Pan Creek its downhill and fast. These lights don't stay green for long so you'll have to move quickly to clear the intersection. NE 24° 46m
15.42km 0.95km Peakhurst After crossing Salt Pan Creek, theres a bus stop bay just ahead, head into that and haul on the brakes. NE 44° 14.6m
15.44km 0.03km Peakhurst Onto a steep short path that takes you to Elwin St. NNE 13° 11m
15.49km 0.04km Peakhurst Get onto Elwin St, a quiet back street. NNW 347° 10m

17.26km 0.15km Riverwood On the southern side of Riverwood Station are toilets, taxi rank, Coles and Woolies, takeaways and Belmontes Pizza (good, has outdoor seating, BYO). NNE 21° 25m
