Its chapel and Hall of Ancestors were designed by the Austrian architect Johann Bernard Fischer von Erlach, who also designed Vienna's Schönbrunn palce. 46.11km 0.96km Vranov nad Dyjí The center of town is on the opposite side of the river. Cycle Track 48 turns left here, leaving Route 398. An alternate route is to cross the bridge and remain on Route 398, rejoining the Greenways Trail before Lesná. The route is shorter, but the climb is steeper. For mountain bikers and those willing to hike, another alternative is to enter Národny Park Podyji directly from this town, riding on Cycle Track 5122. ENE 59° 312m

The Prague-Vienna Greenways Trail continues on Cycle Track 4, and follows the Austrian border to the south. The town center is famous for its well-preserved renaissance merchant homes. Before WWII, Mikulov had the Czech Republic's second largest Jewish community, after Prague. The historic Jewish quarter dates to 1450, and includes an old synagogue and a Jewish cemetery. E 83° 202m
